Claudia runs ClaudiaG Collection, creating handcrafted handbags and fashion accessories. When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, she was trapped with water rising to her waist and had to be rescued by helicopter.
She lost everything - her home, her entire inventory, and her livelihood. The devastation was complete.
The Singal Foundation, connected through the Chamber of Commerce, provided Claudia with a $5,000 grant. She used it to buy inventory for an immediate kickstart to her business.
Today, Claudia is back on her feet and thriving, stronger and better than ever before. She now focuses on helping other entrepreneurs through hard times, paying forward the support she received.
